Some may depend on price, they both have the same GPU, the EVGA while clocked higher is more than likely near it's limit rather than having great OC potential, EVGA bins GPUs same as DRAM is binned , the better GPUs go into the higher clocked cards, and then the potential trickles downward..I like the Asus 780s, have a pair of them and together they easily OC 25+ % individually even higher, and run nice and cool even OCed and under load, the CU cooling design is a great one
