how do I remove junk files from my Toshiba Satellite step by step

Solution
You need to uninstall anything not needed from the Control Panel->Uninstall Programs menu. After that go to your preffered browser and uninstall add-ons you don't need. In Chrome this is done in the Extensions menu found when you click on the Tools icon in the upper right part of the window. In Firefox this is done in the Add-ons Manager menu found in the Tools menu after you click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the window. After this you should download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free version and run a scan and remove all infections. When all this is done for optimization you can download CCleaner and run it and after that download Defraggler and defragment your hard drive. After this there should be no ads or bloatware...
Your computer is most likely infected with a virus or you installed a program that also installed junk software. For example, when you download Adobe, it will install Google Chrome if you do not uncheck the box for it. They hide these boxes very easily.

I would remove any unwanted programs from you computer from the control panel and run a full system scan using:

The free version will work perfectly. Don't forget to un-check the boxes to start a free trail! -_-;

Download a free Anti-Virus program like AVG Free and run a full computer scan. Then download CCleaner and run that application. It will clear up clutter on your hard drive - but be cautious. Unless you tell it otherwise, it will delete saved data on sites and start menu icons, etc. CCleaner also has a registry scan that may improve system performance and stability.

Hopefully by then your computer will be junk free and faster.
