This is the message I get after trying a custom install of Win7 Professional I just purchased three hours ago on a completely new build. The build is as follows:
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD3H
Processor: Intel i7 4770K 3.5GHz
GPU: Geforce 770
Ram: 16gb trident g.skill 2400mhz
HD: Samsung Evo 840 500gb SSD
On my first windows install, I installed all of the drivers off the Gigabyte motherboard CD as I had no network drivers so I couldn't connect to the internet. After installing the drivers, I rebooted the system and as the windows logo appeared, BSOD results every time (also in all safe modes). I tried to just re-install Windows and get the error message above. I am a novice at the whole process. When I get the prompt to choose which device to select, there is a 100mb partition and a 430gb partition and I stupidly accidentally pressed "delete" for the 100mb partition by accident. It's still there but I can't do anything with it. The only partition I can install it to was I assume where the original windows OS was downloaded and I get told a new folder will be given with the old drive (I think I solve the problem here). Unfortunately the error comes up and I am at a loss of what to do. I'm writing this on another computer of mine. If there is anything you need to help please let me know. This is a computer for my father's birthday and I'd like to get this fixed asap.
