Specs:

    i7 2700k 3.5GHz
    ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3
    8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600
Asus Direct CU II OC GTX 780
    SeaSonic SS-750KM3 750W

I got the 780 last month to replace a MSI Twin Frozr III 6950 and prior to switching I never had any issues. In the past few days my computer has been freezing while playing games. When it happens, my monitors still display whatever I was last doing, all sound stops, and everything becomes unresponsive. There are no beeping sounds or anything, and all of my case fans still stay on as well. I have found that this happens when my graphics card is being strained. It will happen sometimes while Playing Wildstar for a while, and will happen after about 10 mins of The Witcher 2 at max settings.

Last night I put up temperature monitors on my 2nd display so that when it froze I could look at them. My CPU temp never went over 52C and my GPU was 61C at the time of the freeze. I have let it sit there to see if it would unfreeze and nothing happens. When I restart using the buttons on my case everything starts up normal with no issues.

I don't know what could be causing this? I assume it is somehow related to either the graphics card or my power supply as I had no issues with my previous card. I have the most recent bios and drivers for my motherboard and graphics card. Any ideas? Thank you.

I think so, the 780 suggests 600W as the minimum and mine is 750W

Try to clean your gpu drivers again and reinstall.
Also run a memtest on your ram to see if they went defective.

Just did the memtest and the ram is fine. Cleaned all the drivers and reinstalled. I'll report back if the freeze still happens. Thank you for the advice.

Well I didn't have any issues after I did this yesterday, but this morning I had a freeze again. Any other suggestions?
