Hi,

I've recently installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit (1 week and a half ago) onto my second hard-drive, everything worked fine until yesterday when I powered up my PC as usual to find that the audio and mic randomly didn't work.

After checking my drivers, reinstalling my drivers (Yes, I checked on the GIGABYTE website to make sure they were the correct drivers for my integrated sound), checking the Windows Audio service, lots of restarts and many other common solutions until I decided to boot my old windows 7 home premium (64 bit also) to find that audio worked.

My speakers are set as the default device and I have tried turning the communications to do nothing when windows detects communications usage and also Enhancements to disable all sound effects.

Weirdly, when I use realtek audio manager if I turn the playback volume on, I can hear myself which seems strange as both the mic and audio aren't working for anything else.

Please help in anyway you can.

Thanks in Advance
