Could someone help me choose a great mobo... I like the way the MSI black and red boards look with the dragon on them. Not sure which exact model to get at this point.

The Z87 is the best I've worked with and built on, it's also been the best selling and highest rated Z87 mobo, plus you get the better better quality and QC that Asus provides, I myself won't build on MSI due to their poor QC
This?

Not sure on budget, but might look at the Z97 Hero, am running one w/ a spare 4770K while waiting on the DC K models, but have had my Asus 780 CUs in it and performance is great, the Hero was the best Z87 (mine in sig), and the Z97 is even better, at less the Z97-A from Asus is another good option, built one last week, another sweet mobo

Between the Asus Maximus VI Hero which is $200 and the MSI Z97 G45 which is $150. Which board is the overall better choice. I would love to save money but I also will spend more money for the higher quality.
