Moving to a new motherboard. Will I have trouble with my hdd?

I got my whole upgrade ready new board new processor new gpu card. Ordered it (planning to scavenge all other parts off my current rig) but then it hit me I might have some issue connecting my hdd to the new motherboard. Either through a now defunct connector piece or was from a boot error.

I have windows preinstalled no CD key. Im on a budget wich ive stretched insanely thin as it is. How can I MacGyver this baby into working without expenditure of funds.

One time I bought a Wi-Fi card and the card wouldn't run u ntill I downloaded the driver so I had to Borrow a friends pc put the driver on usb and boot it on my device from there. Can I do something similar here?

So what do I need to do exactly? I mean I could wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows from usb right? But will I have to purchase another copy of windows? Or can I somehow figure out what my series key is?

I have no problem with wiping my hard drive. If I completely wipe the thing and get windows os loaded on my usb stick can the board read from there at boot up? Becuase I did a little r easearch and apparently there are ways to recover your product key even if windows came pre installed as did mine.

Ok so I got to looking and I always assumed it was a pre install but ive got a windows sticker with a product key on it on the case. Also im going to be putting on a new processor as well. Im going from amd to amd sadly. Same hdd though ive had two people tell me it should boot fine. But im going to make a system recovery disk and a bn pot disk just to be sure. Unless its like for sure tied to my motherboard. In which case ill have to 're purchase windows

Wait a second fellows. I either had an idea that's either genius or horrible. I can download all the drivers for my new componets onto my HDD and then it should just be able to run it straight on startup right?
