guys i have a 2 yrs old i5 2400 and i have also brought a dell E2014H monitor a month ago .when i boot the PC 1/3 of the times my pc says cmos check sum error and tells me to choose 5 options ......can any body tell me what is the problem and how to solve it and my i5 has slowed down a bit.......

Replacing the CMOS battery will help.Find the numbers on the battery then buy the exact same model.
