So recently when I calculated the wattage from the components of my future first build I got 1800 Watts. Yeah..... That's probably not right. Then later I did an online estimation of wattage and got 540 Watts (recommended) using this site: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine .

So basically what I'm asking is, will you, the community help me find the minimum and recommended wattages for my first build. and maybe if it's not to much, guide to me to some recommended Power supply units? Thanks alot! :)  :cheese:

If you want to SLI you will need a 750w.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-750-ti-...
You GPU is 155 and you CPU is 84w.

I agree that you could just get an i5-4670k and get a better gpu like a 770 or higher.

Edit: haha nice. esco_sid's build is what I was getting to :p

Don't forget to get a PSU with a high Power Factor and high efficiency. It'll pay for itself in time

Hi deatheater500
i would suggest you buy a quality PSU from ,
seasonic/xfx ( also made by seasonic ) or any psu from the corsair TX,HX or AX range of psu's
1200W is overkill and would power 3x760's with headroom
http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm
get a psu 850W or slightly higher from any of the above PSU's i suggested
