Hey guys... Quick question.

This is my current build... http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/txkTzy

I'm planning to play games such as Planetside 2, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty series, Crysis Series, ArcheAge, WildStar, FarCry Series, Ghost Recon Phantoms and a few other games.

I will play these games on one monitor and I will be multi-tasking anything else on my second monitor... NOT for the gaming screen.

Would I rather use the GPU that I listed above that has 3GB or would I rather go for a 4GB GPU? I heard that it's better at heavily higher resolutions and using 3+ monitors... I was told to use a 3GB instead. I just want some people with knowledge to guide me on this.

Solution
well at the standard 1080p you will max settings 60+ fps everything.
at 1440p I would still expect max settings 60+ on BF, COD, and Ghost Recon. Far Cry and Crysis may give you some lower frames or quality. Ive heard planetside is rough right now too so I'm not sure on that one. I dont really know anything about wildstar or archage

Well, the thing is... I probably won't have the full budget before a couple months, so... By the time I get it, I will be changing the CPU to the 4790K that's 100% sure.

Also, I have not YET figured out what kind of monitor I will be getting... If that's what you mean by resolution? There's several months before I can make any purchase and my build my suffer some changes with the course of time.

Oh, okay... Well, 1080p is fine enough for me - I'm not playing games only for graphics but 1080p sure is a plus if I'm able to run it at a minimum of 60 FPS... It's orgasmic on certain games and I want the privilege to play those games that my current PC can't even run at 10 FPS.

I'm good enough with 1080p ...

There's even more trouble now - I have to find a good monitor that doesn't cost an arm but is durable, quality and has good performance and refresh rate, etc...
