Is it possible that the MOBO or CPU himeslf OC automatically to 4.4 ghz due to good cooling?
i have 48c max temps on full load and 38c idle

Im using CooleraMaster Hyper EVO 212 (Push-pull) and Arctic MX-4 paste

And well aired case CoolerMaster HAF 912+ with all slots full of fans except side one

Solution

i updated all and have stable everything thx for tips its running on 4375MHz and i have very low temps thanks to 1 optional corsair fan and one stock on cpu radiator witch makes push-pull configuration

oh ok then why is it showing speed of cpu 43xx something maybe 4380 when the boost on thic cpu is 4.2? im guessing that this is then 4.3, 4.4?? yea im not gonna OC it yet in new to this and ill take my time to learn more about OC

i had luck in store they made an mistake i oredered M5A99X EVO R2.0 and i got this M5A99FX PRO R2.0 for the price of EVO :))))

If you want to take it the slow way, you can bump the multiplier up +1.0 at a time, testing it for stability without touching voltages. Once its unstable, then back off .5 or bump the voltage up a little bit. It'd be better off if you avoid the voltages.

Test the oc with Prime95 or something. :) Also disable the boost and cool n quiet settings and what not. :)

The fast way of doing it is just looking around and finding the average you see people at with relatively the same specs, and then go bump it to that area. If its stable, you can keep going or stay there.

Just my suggestion on that one.

Also, use the bios. It's easier.

The answer to your question is yes. My motherboard was overclocking My FX9590 to 5.166,
This was a glitch that was fixed when I updated the bios. What speed is your cpu running at?
What Motherboard are you using?

You have the same motherboard I have. You mat want to check and make sure you have the latest bios.
The latest update I believe was for stability issues. That is what solved my motherboaed self overclocking
problem.

yea i have uefi but i dont want to tweak just yet later when i learn more :) ill find few revievs on YT and so i did watch it and i know what i have to do but im kinda scared to do it couse i dont wanna do something wrong or thast when i updatad bios today i was scared out of mind what will heapend if power runs out or that kind of things :)))

no need to worry about power running out, I don't even see that as a possibility.

Only thing to be worried about it;
Nothing.

Here may be some of your questions;
-What happens if i OC too much?
-Will I damage my hardware if I decide i will overclock?
-Will my cpu overheat? - as some users describe it
-Will overvolting the CPU damage it? - You have a UEFI so no problem with this anyways.

Here are your answers to those;
-PC May crash and CPU may be unstable (also high temps), but this is easily fixed by going back into BIOS and changing it back, or booting into safe mode.
-You will not damage your hardware, cpu's are quite durable components and can take quite a lot of wear and tear these days, even with extreme overclocking.
-Your computer will automatically shut down to "cool off" when temps get too high, this happens just below max safe limits, so no damage is being done.
-Most motherboard BIOS's won't apply a voltage that is considered too high, that said some will and it is not always good to do so. As said before, your BIOS does this for you so you should have no issue.

Anything i need to add?

nah i dont think so everything is here :) Its good but still ill wait little its a new PC this is hyper fast for me i just bought this PC my old one was AMD 4000+ and GT8500 asus so this is huge speed to me im happy with it when i get the fealing that i cant run games as i can now on ultra all then ill try clocking the CPU couse the GPU is allready clocked ty for message :)

i have updated the bios to an 2301 i think im not sure but the latest BIOS for sure that was on the site and still i have 4.4GHz i didnt touch anything in bios so that is normal to CPU OC it self due to good temp? couse the turbo is 4.2GHz max the max CPU temp on MetroLL and BF4 is 51c on the hot day when the room temp is high now when the airconditioner is working i got 43c or 46c MAX when i was playing BF4 and MetroLL on ultra

This may not be a motherboard issue. You might want to stress test the cpu with prime 95. If it runs stable
it is probably just been clocked that way From the factory. If it is unstable then your mobo could be the reason.
If you updated your bios you should have updated to version 2501 for the Asus M5A99FX Pro R2,0. You also want to follow their directions. Bios version 2501 solved my problem I had with the mobo automatically overclocking my cpu.

dude that is not even for system stability its for usb something check it i dont have prob with the CPU i have MAX temps on cpu 50c on very hot day with the airconditioner on i have 45c or 47c MAX and tomorow my corsair SP 120mm performance fan is ariving so i will put it on the last free slot for fans so the case will be super cooled

Okay now its working all 8cores im running for 15 mins now its overclocked to 4375MHz temp is stable on 56.5C and
temp of MOBO is 77MAX not moving from that ill let it for one more hour and we will see tomorow i will do 6hrs test is that necessary that long? damn i was scared shitless thanks dude really tnx

ok im running prime for 2hrs now and all cores are working ill go for 6hrs test tomorow this are the temps and the result cpu MAX temp 58.5c (couse the case was to close to the wall) now it not moving from 56.5c

core speed on cores 4375MHz on all 8 cores
and 219Bus speed
i oc the ram from 1866mhz to 2006mhz i thing not sure but a little oc it done it auto couse i changed the value of OC in bios i had the option to put it on 1700 or this i choose higher so should i change that?

Temp on MOBO is 78MAX (again couse it was close to wall) now its not moving from 76c

i think im ready to run this pc like it should been runed from the beggining what do you think?
