Quick Question: Can 8 GBs 1066 mhz be used in a Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H Motherboard?

Quick Question can 8 GBs 1066 mhz be used in a Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H Motherboard? I know my ram is 1066 as Cpu-z said my dram was 532.6 (I times it by 2 right?).

  1. The specs only list 1333 and 1600 but it should work I believe

    EDIT : It even states that it supports 1066 MHz RAM.

    Sorry I typed the B75 chipset motherboard, just saw yours is B85.
  7. The specifications, manual, and supported memory list all say only 1333 or 1600 MHz, but I think your best bet would be to call up Gigabyte and ask directly. That'll certainly be the quickest way to find out a definitive answer.
