I recently noticed by using chrome browser and steam that tabs keep being opened on their own with some adverts.
Its annoying and I do not know what is going on. I have an antivirus installed, reinstalled my system 3 times and yet it still comes up.
Whenever I go into steam and go to the store,pick a game that is where steam browser window opens up. Sometimes it happens in the chrome as well.
I honestly exhausted all possibilities right now. Can anyone help?

Fixed this problem... I realised all my devices and phones had this problem so I went into router settings and the Domain Name Server (DNS) Address was set to manual for some reason. Have no idea why it was like that but I had it changed to Get Automatically From ISP. No more pop ups
