I have a BSNL Broadband connection which works with my Windows 7 PC without Problems. So, I Bought a Wireless Router (Netgear JNR10101 N150) to use my internet on my smartphone via WiFi.The Modem that I use to connect to the internet on my PC is a D-Link DSL-2520U Modem. The Steps which I used to enable wireless internet were as Follows:

1.Connected My modem to my PC via the RJ45 LAN Cable.Since,it was preconfigured for internet all i had to was change connection mode to Bridge Mode and Disable DHCP.

2.I disconnected my Modem and Connected My WiFi Router to the PC Via the LAN Cable and changed it's IP address so that I was able to access it's internet settings.

3.In the Settings I Went to ADVANCED>SETUP>INTERNET SETUP and Put in the Credentials Provided by my ISP which is BSNL Broadband.I selected Connection type as PPoE since that is the connection type my ISP provides.

4.I Selected LAN SETUP in the same Category and Checked "Use this router as a DHCP server" and Gave it a DHCP range(2-17).

5.I logged out of it and Disconnected my Wireless Router from my PC and connected my Modem to the PC,Connected my Wireless Router to the Modem via the WAN(Blue) Cable in the Ethernet Port of the Modem and the Wireless Router.

I expected it to work since this is what most websites are advising to do.But,here is my problem: The WiFi Network is visble and I am able to connect to it.But,When i try loading a website or any App that requires Internet, they do not load.I tried it with multiple devices so the problem is not my smartphone.I tried enabling/Disabling DHCP in my modem/router to no avail.

I hope somebody can tell me where am I going wrong,it will be highly appreciated if you dont provide responses like rebooting my modem/router/PC or checking drivers, I have tried them multiple times.
