How do I make MSE switch on when I switch on my PC ?

At present when I switch on my PC MSE shows red and I have to click the icon and then Switch On the MSE program, I would want it to run as soon as I switch on my PC,
Hope someone has a solution.

You probably have real time scanning disabled. Go to the options and enable it. It could also be that you don't have a scheduled scan set up. By which I mean that it is currently set for a manual scan only. Either of these will cause MSE to turn red, because there is no protection enabled. It's basically a warning to let you know that when it's red.
