I got an gtx770 windforce by gigabyte, I have an dell precision t3600, I have a problem plugging it in while the sides where the hdmi ports and all that stuff doesnt fit my case its almost double, also I get it not fitting my pc case inside because ti contacts other parts, I dont know what to do my store said it should fit. My pc looks like this http://images.anandtech.com/doci/6456/Small%20(7%20of%207).jpg and it has a quadro 600.
I got the version with the 3 fans.

Solution
If you have any tradesman or handyman friends with a dremel or angle grinder with a thin 1mm cutting disc you could take the door to them and get them to cut out the handle or take it to an engineering workshop
Hi TwinDenis
from the looks of the case your card will hit the 5.25 bays
you will have to mod the case for your card to fit.
I would suggest either get a smaller card or
mark how far the card overlaps the 5.25 bay area with a permanent marker
remove all the components from inside the case , use pair of quality tin snips or a 4 or 5" angle grinder with a thin 1mm cutting disc
and cut out the 5.25 bay at the bottom where you have marked giving you enough room for your card , then reassemble your pc
you should not have to cut away much as you said it almost fits so that shouldn't affect the strength of the 5.55 cage

I am not into the tech stuff, what should I do? I might damage my professional pc.
I dont get you, the guys on the shop said that it can be fit but I told them to do a return and get the 2 fan one, will this work for me?

Your link doesn't go anywhere except "404" page not found, it probably wouldn't help us anyway.

Yes, the GTX 770 is thicker than a standard card on account of the enclosure. You will be limited to using a standard graphics card design like this (I'm not suggesting this model, just using it as an example of size/thickness): http://www.trustedreviews.com/Sapphire-Radeon-X550_PC-Component_review

It's quite cramped inside the T3600 case so if you need a high-performance card for gaming without modding the case, you'll have to consider a new system which gives you more room on the board as well as more room inside the case.

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC Edition 2GB card you have is 292mm long
The ASUS GeForce GTX 770 DirectCU II OC 2GB is 272mm long
roughly the same price , if you can swap the card you have for that , that should solve your issue
unless you are happy using the card in the second slot

looks like it fits, but the case cannot close, it hits to the cap, aldo I have 6 and 6 pins, not 6 and 8 pins.

unfortunately i dont have a method on doing so but I can tell you that the case has an weird inside handle that pops up about 3-4 cm.
the card barely fits of course and it looks huge, I cant close the case and I have this issue with the power cables.
is there an 770 model that could be switched with?
what to do?

by the way the handle of the case inside is melt-glued on the case.

sorry for the late reply i have been doing my best to research a solution for you,
as far as a 770 that will fit in your case in the first slot i have found these two

Galaxy GeForce GTX 770 GC 2GB @ 254 mm x 111.2 mm
Inno3D Geforce GTX 770 2GB OC 1071MHz @ 255 mm x 111mm

you said the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC Edition 2GB card overlaps by about 2cm which is 292mm long
so that gives you about 37mm smaller so either of these cards should fit lengthways

will there be an issue with closing the case door if a card in the first pcie slot ?

well yes, it has the handle inside, so I can secure the case, I mean the cap has one, its a handle from the inside about 3 cm pops up.
the card I have can be attached by length almost, I mean it can be done, but I cant close the case and the power adapters doesnt work. If i dont close the case I will obviously have an issue, i can purchase another model if needed for better quality, one that might also need 6 pins would be useful too.
Well I dont much care as long as I have the gtx770 installed. the quadro one seemed to be too small in comparison with the "monster" card I just got.
so not the length is our problem but the width, it doesnt overlap any components because I switched it with my quadro.
well of course I want to get the best quality (from the best company) so I have a good manufacturer.

as far as not having an 8pin pcie power and having 2 x 6pin pcie
you can get an adaptor cable cheaply to turn 6pin into 8oin like this

well I am aware of that but the case problem is my main issue.
