In advance, I don't know a ton about computers. My PC has been running on a crappy internal graphics card for a while, I finally got a new Evga Geforce GTX 560 Ti. I put it in, it fit fine, and the card's fan is going, but when I plug the monitor into it, nothing comes up on the screen? I tried downloading drivers from the nividia site but it tells me there is no compatible hardware? I've never done this before so I'm a bit stuck.

I'm not entirely sure what a 6pin is but if the fan is going I can only assume power is going to it. I have a VGA cable with a DVI converter on it, if that matters. Windows isn't magically conjuring any graphics drivers. There is a sticker on my power supply with a ton of writing in an (asian?) language I cannot read. I'm not sure how to find out what kind of power supply it is.

ps could be junk................ ,but, isn't there a six pin slot on the graphics card where you need to plug in auxiliary power? pull the card and take a good look.

This is a 6pin connector - http://gyazo.com/b52ad784ae6b96343abafb5c34ddf454
This is where it goes on the graphics card - http://gyazo.com/5592cb4b478f351d2e898964879cd361

Many 750ti cards do not have a power connector, but your card might. Can you give us the make and model of the card?

I found two 6pin slots on the card, and found 2 things hanging off the power source that fit perfectly. And it worked! That was such a stupidly easy fix I almost feel bad for asking. Almost. Anyway it seems to be working, so thanks!
