Your processor is so horribly underpowered that I don't think that changing the graphics card will make any difference, I think that even the GTX 650 would be too much.

What video card are you upgrading from? The 650 is the previous gen card. I'd look at a 750 or 750Ti. Yes games will be held back by your dual core C2D chip, however, this will depend on the game. Some games are not extremely CPU intensive and in those cases a nice GPU will shine just fine. In games that really hit the CPU hard especially in a dual core you will see some issues, but just pay attention to the games minimum specs. Have you looked at OCing that chip at all? If you can squeeze a higher clock our of that chip you might help your cause a little. You could only do this if your board supports it. If its a brand PC you probably can't. Just throwing that out there as well.

THANKS for ur reply. i am using GT 630 right now and with a Gigabyte S series motherboard GA 965P-S3 if i take ur suggestion , overclock 1.8 GHz up to 2 ++ . i am afraid that my motherboard will overheat and crash. my power supply is 500 W should i take the risk? another question what is the performance differentiation between GTX 650 and GTX 750
looks like their overall are quite same but GTX 750 consumes less power than GTX 650. which is better? Actually i am not an incredibly expert gamer, just wish the game runs smoothly in medium setting...
