Hi there,

I am going to be building a new system soon and I plan on using the BitFenix Shinobi as my case. The top of the case has mounting holes for dual 120mm or dual 140mm fans so that would suggest the Corsair H110 would fit since its a 280mm radiator. However, according to PCPartsPicker it does not fit. Has anybody got a Shinobi with a H110 mounted in the top? Is anybody able to elaborate on why it does not fit if PCPartsPicker is correct? or if they are incorrect? Since dual 140mm fans do fit in the top of the case.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
PCPartPicker is correct. Having a Shinobi myself I looked at it as well, the top you're talking about does indeed have space for 2x140mm fans. However there is not enough space as the thickness of the radiator+fans would hit the motherboard.
Some guy modded the Shinobi to have one at the front though:

It's likely some restriction in the cases design, either it wont physically fit or fan mount holes are not exactly right. It looks similar to the Corsair Carbide 200R case, same top fan mounting configuration. Yet officially they only recommend a single fan radiator design, as the double doesn't fit.

Although some people find ways around it in some cases:

So i'd suggest changing to a supported case for the H110, or just go with a single fan radiator model.

Thanks for both the answers, I figured it'd probably be due to something like the fans hitting the motherboard. Going to go for a H80i mounted on the back instead.
