so im building a new pc, and i really like the functions of windows 7 as i have had a previous pc with windows 7 and kinda got used to it, but im wondering if it is best to go with windows 8.1?

Solution
There really is no 'best' when it comes to those 2 OS's. Sure 8.1 will play games upto 5%ish faster, but that only generally equates to @2-3 frames better performance, not something humanly possible to see, only a benchmark can see that.

It's all really going to boil down to what you as a user are most comfortable using.

Hi, I got windows 8.1 and I got used to it in a day, it doesn't matter with the start button, you'll realize it later, and also, the startup on Windows 8.1 crazy, it takes like 10 seconds then you're at your desktop

If you right click on the start button in Windows 8.1 it opens up the menu similar to Windows 7.
