First PC build, looking for opinions?

I'm building my first desktop PC, primarily for gaming. I'm not 100% sure if my build is too much or too little. I'd like to save as much money as possible but I don't want to settle for something unreliable. The link to the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/r629t6

I'd use the Core i5-3570k instead of the i7-2600k.
As for the ram you should use 2x4 DIMMS instead of 1x8. Better overall performance.
I recommend a 600w PSU and unless you will OC remove the Heat sink, the stock is more than enough tbh.
