First gaming PC computer build

Solution
Overclocking is basically making the CPU go faster. The CPU gets warm and consumes more power so a proper CPU cooler and decent PSU is needed.

Here's a Full build with all peripherals and everything you need. No overclocking though.

I guess now my only question is, would there be any issues with what I have already picked out? any long term problems/short term problems? Since it is overclocked, will the cooling fan i selected do the job?

The CM Hyper 212 Evo performs really well for its low price. Don't worry, after reading articles and threads, you should pick up PC hardware quickly. Don't be afraid to ask for help. There are a lot of websites and tools that you can use to help yourself before asking

Asus Maximus VI hero and a Hyper 212 EVO on a Haswell chip? Can somebody please explain why nobody has pointed this out to him yet? Get a better CPU cooler if you want to overclock. Noctua NH-D15 is good. Don't listen to anyone who recommends the 212 EVO for overclocking a Haswell chip. It's virtually useless.

It doesn't cool them enough to get a good overclock. It's acceptable on the FX chips, but not the Haswell chips. ESPECIALLY with a motherboard with such a high end VRM.
