I wanted to show someone while his old Pentium processor is not as good as new, not that expensive i7... so I stumbed against this link:

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Pentium-T4200-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4700MQ
Now if you scroll down to section: "Reasons to consider Intel Core i7 4700MQ"
the first thing it says is "built-in GPU"? Does it mean, it can add graphical performance as opposed to GPU alone?

It is reported that i7 core has "built-in GPU" Intel® HD Graphics 4600. The normal GPU is GeForce GTX 860M. That means they both work for my favors?

Systems (Usually laptops) built with "switchable graphics" can do this...
Old systems used integrated graphics chips built into the motherboard, which could be disabled in favor of an add-in graphics card. Newer systems have that integrated GPU built into the CPU package which helps to reduce latency (delay time in communication between components). Generally newer "Intel HD graphics" built into Core CPUs are faster than the "Intel GMA" integrated graphics used on older motherboards but not as fast as an add-in card.

If you use an add-in video card that will take over video processing from the Intel HD graphics. The HD graphics unit will be inactive when a card is used.

In desktop PCs the integrated GPU will only work if you have no dedicated GPU. In laptops, the integrated GPU will be used in simple tasks like web browsing to save power. Heavier tasks will be run on the dedicated GPU and the integrated one will be turned off during those heavy tasks.

So they both are used, but the integrated GPU doesn't actually add more performance to the dedicated one.

So when I'm playing easy flash game on web, answering friends on facebook, sending mails or reading article. System will choose for power saving Intel GPU. When I'm gonna open Watch_Dogs or Kerbal Space Program. The NVIDIA 860M will be used? Is that what you meant?

I5 AND I7 AND OTHER MODERN CPU has an Build in GPU so you wont need to buy an GPU ETC LIKE GTX 660 OR SOME OTHER GPU YOU DONT NEED TO BUY GPUS IF YOU WANT TO BROWSE THE INTERNET WATCH MOVIES AND PLAY SOME GAMES LIKE

Minecraft-LOL-ETC

If you want to play Bf4 or Watch dogs you wuld have to buy a GPU IT WILL GIVE YOU MUCH BETTER FPS

So i You want to play gemse like bf4 i rec you an GTX 660 OR gtx 700 series and an Intel Core i5-4670K
