So for the last month or so my computer has been freezing a couple times a day. Sometimes it freezes just after I exit a game and sometimes it freezes when I am in the middle of the game. I have checked temps of my video card while playing games like watch dogs and they looked fine. I can't seem to figure out what could be the issue.

My specs are

Motherboard: ASRock Extreme3 R2.0
CPU: AMD 8 core FX 8320
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
Video: Asus GTX 660
Power: XFX Pro 750W
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD SATA 6GBS
Optical Drive: Samsung Optical Drive SH-224DB/BEBE
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4) 240-Pin

Assuming Windows 7:
Search - Event Viewer - Custom Views - Administrative Events

There will probably be a LOT of stuff in there, so take your time.

Is there something specific I'm looking for?

It could be any of a zillion things. Or something not reported in there at all.

It could be a dying HDD, bad CPU temp, a bad CPU temp sensor not telling you it is too hot, some malware that is not being caught, or several thousand other things.

Well everytime a critical level pops up it says the source is kernel-power. What is that? Any idea?
