CPU: AMD FX-4300 4-Core Processor
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz 2GB GDDR5
HDD: Seagate Barracuda® 1TB
PSU: Corsair CX 500W PSU
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3, Socket-AM3+
RAM: Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 1600MHz 8GB

If i were to upgrade to in the next couple months. What parts should i upgrade?

If you upgraded the cpu and psu it'd be a really good build. I'd stick with amd, since you already have the motherboard. Get either an fx 6300 or fx 8320.

As for the psu, I wouldn't trust it with an 8320, but if you were to upgrade to a 6300 before upgrading the psu I might trust it for a short time.
Go for a decent seasonic or xfx unit (made by seasonic). Or you could get a antec high-current gamer psu (pretty much the same as the seasonic m12ii unts). Even one of seasonic's or xfx's lowest end units would be a massive improvement over the cx500

You should check your gpu usage during games. Turn settings right up and turn off vsync. If you notice it isn't being fully utilised, and is staying below around 85-90%, your cpu is holding...
