Okay so I am planning on buying a gaming PC in July. I am getting a i7-4790 k 4 core 4.0 ghz (OC can go up to 4.8 ghz)
8 GB of RAM and two sli GTX 780 TI EVGA superclocked GPUS. I want to know if my CPU will bottleneck these two GPUS and I also want to know if it will cause overheating. My cooling is corsair hydro series h60 push pull air flow. I also heard that it will bottlneck if I don't have a monitor that can go past 1980x 1080 resolution

Well i'm preparing for the Witcher 3 and word is that one gtx 780 Ti can't run it max settings so I was thinking of doing sli or getting a Titan Black but the Black isn't worth it.

that cpu...will not bottleneck anything that a sane human can ever buy as a gpu...but do you really need an i7?....if you're doing photoshopping, or other 3D rendering tasks then that's fine..otherwise stick with an i5...even that thing can handle maybe 2-3 780ti's...as for the monitor....if you're playing on 1080p and still want 2 780ti's...then well what can i say?...I guess Nvidia just got lucky with their video cards
