Hey, failing the CPU Frequency Test isn't that big of a problem. Depending on the model of processor and what your computer is exactly...where its a custom built or factory built computer can sometime make the world of difference to us trying to solve the problem.

Assuming...that your computer may be factory built...the Turbo Boost Technology may be disabled. In that case, " Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options and make sure that you're running the Balanced power profile. Once there, go to Edit Plan Settings > Change advanced power settings > Change settings that are currently unavailable. Scroll through the list and make sure that "Processor power management\Maximum processor state" is 100%, and that "Processor power management\Minimum processor state" is 5%. " I found this at another site that might be useful to you.

That should take care of the CPU Frequency Failing.

Now on the issue of Blue Screening and Crashing. We need to know what the Error Code is on the Blue Screen otherwise we're just going to take a shot in the dark and probably waste your time in the process. The crashing could be a result of faulty memory (you should test your memory modules 1 by 1 to make sure that it isn't a memory issue.) Try testing your video cards on another computer, see if by chance its just an issue with the video card. Try doing a complete re-install of your video card drivers, (uninstall them...then restart the computer and re-install them.) Sometimes it can be a software issue, my gaming headset driver doesn't like my Motherboard drivers...so I occasionally have to re-install my headset drivers. It could be an issue like that...but honestly we really need to know the Blue Screen Error Code otherwise all I can do is go through the generic have you done this or have you done that.

Alright, BCCode 1A indicates a Memory Management issue.

What bit of Windows 7 are you running 32bit or 64bit?

Are your SATA ports in AHCI Mode?

Do you have Intel Rapid Storage Technology Installed? If so...uninstall it, this program might be the cause of your crashing. After uninstall...restart your computer...run it for a while and see if you have any more crashes.

Your video card is not the cause of this Blue Screen. This Blue Screen indicates there is something wrong with either your Memory or your HDD. Drivers aren't the cause of this either. It is solely a RAM or HDD issue.

Okay...um the Intel i7 930 doesn't have 8 Cores...it has 4 Cores and 8 Threads. And...the cable shouldn't have anything to do with anything.

Like I asked you in my other post...do you have Intel Rapid Storage Technology installed?
