I am starting college soon and I would like to major in animation, specifically CGI. Before I start however, I am planning on buying a mid level rendering GPU like the NVIDIA Quadro K4000. Would I have to build a whole new system for my rendering and editing? Or can I also put it in my main system? I have an AMD 290x for my GPU, so would drivers from the two conflict with eachother? Unless the programs have an option to select certain GPUs? I would love it if anyone can help me out here! Thanks!
