What is this build for, gaming? If so, go with the i5 4670K. The 290X is also a good choice but is cheaper. A seasonic PSU is much more known and has better quality. I would rate it a 9 as there are changes that can be made to make it more efficient for gaming

Its going to be for gaming, and editing. Thats why i went for i7 and 780ti. I was thinking about xfx PSU and i think i might get it. What do you think about the parts that i ordered? Case was my personal choice, i liked the way it looked and its cooling is enough as i dont want to do heavy overclocking.

Nice build. Now I would check the new Crucial MX100 instead of the classical Samsung 840 EVO: newer technolofy, cheaper and faster. For the PSU consider EVGA Supernova 750G, or Corsair AX860 if you're planning on SLI in the future.

Hi obyss
looks like a good build 9/10
if overclocking the cpu i would go with the 4970K
http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4790-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4770K
I would also go with the Gigabyte GeForce GTX780 Ti Overclocked, 3GB
This is a great card and an excellent choice for performance and overclocking
with its windforce cooling has great heat dissipation .

Solution
The bigger supernova psus are fine - 1000 and 1300 even g2 750. But not the smaller ones. The XFX (or anything else made by Seasonic) will be fine

I like the Asus 780Ti better - cool and quiet with lots of overclocking headroom.
For 1080 or even 1440p and one monitor, I'd just go with an Asus 780 or Sapphire R9 290.

For gaming, the i5 4670k will drive a 780ti easily.

I was thinking about getting xfx pro series 650/750w gold fully modular psu. I want to do editing so i want to get i7 just to be sure. I cant go for amd gpu because i already ordered z97 mobo. i was thinking alot if i really should go for 780 or the ti version but i want my gpu to last for as long as possible.

What do you think about the parts and accessories which i already ordered?

The ordered parts are OK, but If you're going to buy GTX 780, I seriously recommend you R9 290, cheaper and more performance. The 780 Ti has no competence in AMD, the next one is 295x2, which competes with Titan Black.

I want to run a single monitor but im hoping to play new games at max settings. I mean games like dayz standalone, bf4, division, new fallout. Do you know any headset around g35s price which is better? Not interested in kraken pro or 7.1.

Its actually £20 more expensive, I bought g35 for £50. But the corsair looks good. Ive had other post about the cpu. I ordered my mobo on the 7th and supposingly a new bios for z97 motherboards came out on the 6th. Does it mean my motherboard might not support devils canyons cpus?

i wasnt sober last night. of course it does i7baby. I live in the uk and i bought g35 for £50 and corsair is £78. my brother likes the g35 one though so im thinking about getting a new pair. its not like i dont like it i think g35 is great for its price, looks solid, have few extra features etc.

coming back to gpu. i want to go for nvidia since im getting an intel cpu. plus r9 290 and 290x works like a tractor.

Um no.., why are you calling AMD bad without any facts? Any AMD GPU will run on a Z97 mobo or any other mobo, intel or AMD with an x16 PCIe slot. Just because you are going intel doesn't mean that you HAVE to go Nvidia, the 290X is on par with the 780ti so there is no reason for you to give up AMD just because you want to stay with one brand. But in the end it is all your choice so you can do anything you want,

ive looked at many benchmarks and i would say r9 290x is on par or better than gtx 780, definately not 780ti.

The 290x is ~£50 cheaper but... you drop your fps, get more heat and noise, but im not saying its bad, because it does a great job. IMO its better to compare 780 with r9 290x. Overall not including the price 780ti is the best single gpu, not including titan black. And if you spend so much money on gpu i dont see a point of arguing over the price and saying that r9 290x is cheaper than 780ti, because i could easily go for gtx 780 which is £20-£40 cheaper than r9 and has more or less the same performance.
