So i installed windows 8 a few hours ago and i installed a few apps that I like including onedrive. Onedrive worked well until I installed windows 8.1 and if gave me the microsoft visual C++ runtime error. I read up on the Internet and download all the stuff that it's suppose to fix it, but nothing.

So I did a clean install of windows 8.1, first thing i install before anything else is one drive and still doesn't work. Gives me the same message. That's so strange. Am I the only one?

I looked on the internet for some solutions, but I can't find anything else.

Ok me again. So here is what I did to bypass the login screen in windows 8.1 while having a windows account still active (to have onedrive working)

I guess I solved my own problem. I hope it can help others.

Ya, that's the first thing I did. It was the recommendations, but it didn't change anything.

I found out what the problem was. Onedrive comes "integrated" in windows 8.1 so no need to download the app. I simply had to add my account in the metro UI setting and it automatically sync on my desktop.

It works now but it bring up another problem, I don't want to login everytime I turn on my computer. grrr I'll look around for that.
