Adding a second hard drive for cameras recording of my 90 yo dad. The existing computer is an Optiplex 3020. The second hard drive is the WD Purple 3TB.
After the WD Purple is added, it shown as Disk 0 and the main hard drive is Disk 1. This is weird because normally the newly added drive is Disk 1. Right?
Also, it shows 746.52Gb Unallocated - see 2nd drive 1.jpg
When I use the "New Simple Volume Wizard", the max disk space is without the Unallocated space - see 2nd drive 2.jpg.
Do I have a bad hard drive? Or User error (more than likely).
