I have recently gotten a linux live cd. I attempted to install the distro to my HDD but when i did it partitioned my harddrive automatically, this caused my windows to be unbootable (and maybe gone). and Linux was "unable to complete the installation process". SO is there any way to create a bootable OS (win 7) from a live CD. (i only have one dvd-rw.?? thanks

""create a bootable OS (win 7) from a live CD""---please explain brother.
Btw if you are asking to install windows from windows installation DVD, then you can do that fairly easily, just as you do when installing OS on a new PC.

Ok ill try... I had win 8 on my pc. I went to install linux on my pc as well. when i did this, it repartitioned the drive to accomodate linux files (boot). so now when i start my pc it doesnt even opt to load win os it will only boot up with the linux ISO cd in. if i take it out no OS boots. BTW I do not have a Win installation CD. So basically, when im in the "virtual OS" can i install another bootable OS
