Hi, one of my SSDs a Corsair F-40 does is not recognized on start up about 30-40% of the time, it is as if it's not even there. This drive was used as the main OS drive on my previous computer, now in my new machine I only have games on it.
When the drive is recognized properly it works fine, when it isn't recognized I have to restart the computer to get windows to see it. I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with my motherboard(Asus Z-87-A) as my other two drives seem to working properly and the cables and wiring inside the computer seem to be in order. Is my drive failing? I did't have any problems with it on my other computer it was only when I hooked it up to my new machine that this issue began.
If you have any suggestions they will be much appreciated. If you need extra info you might need to direct me as to how to get it, I don't have much experience with drive issues.
Both computer ran win 8.1 if that matters.
