display shuts down and gives many beeps continuously when a video is started

My computer has large hard disk and good ram capacity, however when a video or game is played, the display goes off and many beeps sound. Is this a video card problem or memory issue.

Try to pay attention to the beeps when that happens as they are a code and we can use that to find out what the problem is.
