Thoughts on gaming rig

Solution
Change the cpu and motherboard to

i5 4670k and ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 - save $200

Change the case to Chaser A31 - save $50

Change the psu to Seasonic 620 or 650, Antec HCG 620M or XFX 650 - better quality

Change the monitor to Asus VE248H to save $50 or get an Asus PB278Q - better quality (1440p)

Change the wifi card to TP-Link TL-WDN3800 - cheaper, better

Don't get case fans or a fan controller. Just use the motherboard to control them.

You could go with an i5 4670 quad core if you just plan on gaming and want to decrease the price. And you could drop down to a sub $150 or even sub $100 motherboard along with doing that. If you want to overclock the i5 4670 you could get the i5 4670k, but if you don't plan on overclocking it, then you could save money by either going with just the stock cpu cooler or maybe a $20 after market one.

I would suggest going with a better hard drive, something that is at least 7200rpm instead of the 5400rpm one you selected.
