CM 212x on a vertically mounted mobo? Is it safe?

Ill sound like a n00b for this, but im about to start my first pc build, and im a bit scared that it is unsafe to mount a CM Hyper 212x in my Corsair 450D case (since the motherboard stands up). From the looks of the fan, it seems like it will stress the mobo too much when its on its side? Am I just overeacting?

It comes with a steel backplate to support the motherboard strain, you do not have to give stressing the motherboard another thought, it will not hurt your motherboard.
