I recently put this together:
i5 4570
GTX 760 DCIIB85
Vengeance 8GB
TX750W
500GB Barracuda
and of course the ASUS Maximus vi hero
however after putting everything together, every cable/fan/HDD connected, it just won't start up. The START and RESET lights on the mobo are lit.

I had all the parts on an ASUS B85-Plus mobo before and it all worked. Would much appreciate some help. Thanks

Do you have the 8 pin CPU power plugged in.

Yes, absolutely everything is plugged in. I just noticed that the thing starts up without the GPU plugged into the mobo, however when connected to the monitor through the integrated graphics, it says no signal.

Make sure memory and heatsink are installed properly.

Alright, did some playing around and now it works! Although it feels a bit unstable to me. I think I will be switching out the cpu to 4670k with an aftermarket cooler at some point soon.

Thank you for the help though.

Usually that error is caused by improper heatsink install.

The result of my quick research says that error 53 is a memory error. Try running MemTest when you can.
