I configured a new rig yesterday... here it is:-

CPU - AMD FX8350
Motherboard - Gigabyte 970
GPU - ATI radeon 7770HD
PSU - Corsair VS550
HDD - 2 seagate hard disk @5400 RPM

The problem is my computer is getting shutdown automatically (without any error message or blue screen) when i am playing a resource-intensive game like Watch Dogs. Now even, same problem is occurring even when i am installing it. No problem what so ever if I keep my pc idle for long.

When it is getting shut down, simple pressing POWER ON is not working. I have to turn the switch off from electric board (or turn UPS off, if connected with UPS), and then ON again to restart the PC

I also tried with a local made 550W PSU, in this case pc is not even starting

But some tech experts told me Corsair VS550 is enough for my config.

Can you please help me... as it is my first thread in this forum, looking forward for ur kind help

When you say shut down do you mean it goes through the windows shut down process or the PC turns off? As the previous post ask have you tried any other games? Have you checked your CPU temperatures? Since it's a new build you could be hitting CPU shut down temp set in the bios for example.

Firstly.... PC just turns off...just like if we suddenly switch off from electric board

Secondly... i hvnt tried with any other game till now

Thirdly... i checked temps....below is an idea about temps

Idle condition- motherbrd 40-45C.... gpu 43-45C... cpu nearly 30C
During gaming - motherbrd 62-67C.....gpu 70-75C....cpu 45-50.... and suddenly powered off

But then whn i was reinstallng the game... temps wr pretty normal.... jst 5-7C above than idle..... then also it turned off suddnly.....
