Im looking for the best possible headset. Wired, 7.1/5.1 is what i want. I play fps, open world games and i want to know when someone is on my 4th, 3rd, 7th, 6th etc. I recently got my g35 headset but my brother likes it so i thought im gonna give im that one. What is your opinion?

From what I can tell, the Sennheiser Game headsets are the best in town. I will be picking up the game one headset in a month.

there is alot of sennheiser's gaming headsets. Which model do you mean? I was thinking about Plantronics gamecom 780, Steelseries Siberia V2, Corsair vengeance 1500 v2, Razer Megalodons.

of course there are more expensive options/wireless like astro a40 a50. Is it worth it to spend £200-£250 for headphones?

Personally, I wouldn't. Sennheiser's have great audio. They make the best audio devices around. So I would assume their gaming headphones are great too. I am not sure how much you are into great audio, but if you are, these will be great. Just out of curiosity, what sound card or device are you running for sound?
