What ram to choose?

Hi guys i would like to ask you which ram to buy for my gaming build, i have got a motherboard gigabyte g1 sniper z87 and cpu i5-470k.
Is it better to take 2x4 GB or 1x8 GB and also at what frequency?thaks for your help in advance!

This is what I'd go with: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($72.00 @ Newegg)

If in the budget, would go the Gkill Tridents or Snpers, best I;ve found with the Z87 mobos, in 1866/8 or 9 or better yet 2133/9
