Hey all, I was wondering (since my gateway came with an AMD card) if everything would go smoothly if I were to restore the system to factory defaults with a newer Nvidia GPU that I put in. I've heard there can be issues when it tries to restore things that aren't there. But anyway, what will happen if I used the restore to factory defaults options and there's no longer the AMD card there? Thanks.

If all you want to do is change graphics cards, you need only remove the AMD drivers (best to remove all graphics drivers) before taking out the AMD card, take the AMD card out, install the NVidia card and install it's drivers.
If there is more going on here than a graphics change, please explain that - may be malware or other issues we can help with

I already have the card in and it's running great! I was just wondering if there would be any issues using the restore factory defaults in the future, since the computer came with an AMD card which I replaced with a Nvidia one.

No, there shouldn't be any issues doing that if the need arises - best to create a system image now though especially if running real nice. Normally the graphics drivers aren't included on a windows disk but with your prebuilt machine they may show up, if they do you would simply need to remove them again and reinstall the NVidia drivers
