Hey guys

My CS:GO have started to mess up with the sound, when ever there are sounds ingame - like people talking, weapon fires or other things. It is pretty anoying and I don't know how to fix it.

I have tried re installed the game (no luck)
I also have tried restore system, but i get a error code named 0x80070005
Have tried unplug headset, but still nothing.

My headset works fine outside CS:GO.

I saw on reddit that somebody said something about "clear out audio cache", Should I do that and how ?

Solution
hey just an update

Some how i maybe got it figured out :) earlier this day, i went to play with my brother and I was editing some settings in AMD Catelyst Control Center and the sound lagg wasn't so bad anymore.

I have the sound on headphones. Is that bad?.. Because some people on internet says "2 sepakers".

I mean my headset is 5.1, so it shall be on "headphone"?

if differs if your headphone have a amp or not ,also if your PC have a sound card or not , however if your headset is a usb try all 3 sets "headphone/5.1 and 2 speakers" see what suits better and stay on it , i read that the 5.1 surround on CS:GO isn't working pretty good on forums , but give it a shot.

Sorry I'm not the best to english :D what means amp?

My pc is a laptop and the headset (Siberia v2 h5). It is pluged into the laptop with two jacksticks.

I don't think it's the headset there is the problem, because the sound problem happens also with my speaker. I have tried update my sounddriver, but no luck.

Can it be a windows settings or something, because every there comes big sounds... my headset gets the robotic/laggy problem.

Hey

I just tried to switch audio settings ingame, but it still laggs the crap out of me.. It's really anonying and don't know how to fix it.

I got two errors in console:

Error: Total static audio channels have been used: 96 (There was many of this and red texted.)
Cl_demo_pressbuild xxxx (lots of them too + red texted)

What is it and do you know how to fix it?

I think the problem is windows 7 sound settings. Here is some pictures of my settings:

Hey

I just played some compettive (we won :D) and the sound have been better, but can come when the game is laggy.

Off topic question: My laptop can only run cs go compettive, at 20-35 FPS. Right now everything is low and only triple buffering + vsync is on.

Are there some settings, commands or some thing else there can boost me in fps?

Disable both vsync and triple buffering.

I just changed in the video.txt file under csgo - cfg...

Mat_vsync "1" -> 0
mat_triplebuffered "1" -> 0
also changed mat_queue_mode "-1" -> "2"

hopes it helps me...
