Is my PSU enough to handle my PC

Hi,
I have an nVidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti graphics card and an Intel i5-2320 3.0 GHz processor in my pc and a 500 WATT PSU. I have alot of problems with my PC like Kernel Mode Driver error which is when you play games and you get a black screen and a crash followed up by a box in the bottom right corner of your screen that your Kernel mode driver has crashed. I also get these rainbow coloured lines while playing games coming from the top left corner of my screen right into the middle, even after exiting the game they still occur which makes me reboot the computer, I've searched all over the internet for fixes but the only thing in my mind is to get a PSU from a better manufacturer like Corsair, and more power also.

500 W should be sufficient for that system so unless its a completely crap PSU, that is unlikely to be your problem. Your clearly have a graphics issue which can be either a driver error or a dying card as suztera said. I suggest uninstalling you current video drivers including using a driver sweeper to get any remnants, before re installing the latest drivers from Nvidia

I don't think my graphics card is failing because I bought it about 6 months ago and the error started to occur about 5 months ago, it would go away for a couple of weeks and then come back again. At idle my temps are below 40 degrees and whilst playing skyrim with a few graphics mods it doesn't go above 60, max I think was 57. My PSU is Atrix but I think it was a dumb purchase because I have not even researched this company and if they make good products.I think i'll just try and purchase a good Corsair or Seasonic PSU and if it doesn't solve my problem i'll just start saving up for a custom build PC, iv'e seen some really good ones for 600 euro out there.
