I have a Toshiba laptop computer running Window’s Vista, it is wirelessly connected to a Verizon Router/Modem. I also have an HP laptop running XP and a HP Desk top running Windows 8.1. The desktop pc is wired to the router and the laptops are wireless.
Two weeks ago the Toshiba started to dropping and reconnecting to the internet about every two to three minutes; but, the Toshiba remains connected to the router. The other two computers do not have any problems with the internet at all.
I welcome any help on this matter.

I tried to update the drivers but the internet connection would not stay up long enough to down load the drivers. Someone told me to re-install Vista Windows which I did. The connection now stays on a lot longer but I cannot download anything not even updates.

The Vista that is running on my Toshiba laptop now stays connected to the internet. My desktop computeris HP Pavilion and is connected to the internet with no problems; the HP is running Windows 8.1.
