My ram usage seems to high.

I'm on an alienware 14, I have 8 gb of ram, when I'm idle, I seem to have like 30% of ram usage. I have no clue because most of my programs don't hog up THAT much ram. And everything running in background is 100% necessary. Any ideas?

try out all these action it will reduce atlease 10-15% as per my experience

1)disk clean up
2)disk defragmentation
3)sufficient ram (4+gb)
4)good antivirus
5)registry cleaner
6)uninstall unused programs
7)keep atleast 15gb free space in C drive
8)empty recycle bin
9)maximum performance- power plans
10)minimize start up and processes
11)keep all drivers up to date
