My mother's computer STB and is not really worth fixing (It's a very old laptop)

She wants the files from her harddrive, so i pulled it out but I can't figure out what kind of connecter this is. I tried a regular 22 pin ATA IDE but that just won't fit.

I have one of those HDs... it's a 40GB Travelstar IDE/ATA and all the codes & numbers are the same.. the only difference is the size, model and speed but everything else should be the same... mine doesn't have that grayish black part on the connector pins or the metal mounting tabs on top both of which may be part of the laptop... so you may have to remove at least the plasic part to expose the connector pins so any connector will fit.

See what I mean...
