I have a CPU: AMD 965 Phenom II BE 3.4 and i can OC it to 4.0ghz with my KUHLER 620 liquid cooling system, RAM: 8GB 1600, MB: MSI 970A-G46, PSU: OCZ 600watt, and just purchased the GPU: GTX 750ti SC edition. I know a GTX 760 would bottleneck my current CPU but what about this smaller cheaper version GTX 750ti? I will be upgrading months later to an INTEL i5-3570k which i know will handle the GTX 750ti fine without any bottlenecking but i was just wondering for the mean time until then or if the upgrade from my AMD 965 Phenom to INTEL i5-3750k is even much an upgrade and worth it for strictly GAMING and CONVERTING MOVIES to burn? By the way im chose the GTX 750ti GPU because im a MODERATE GAMER on a BUDGET and the GPU fits my GAMING needs. P.S. I'm upgrading from a GTX 460 so i feel i'ts a big upgrade to me with LOWER power consumption. Thanks!!!

My bad i forgot to mention i currently play on 1400X900 display and maybe later when i get more cash will upgrade to a 1920X1080p TOPS. My games are all no more higher than Metro 2033, all Call of Duties and lots of F2P games FPS like WARZONE and SOLDIER FRONT. I don't play Battlefield and i only play FPS games.

Yea my GTX 460 handles my current games on STEAM quite well on med to high settings on 1400x900 display. I bought the GTX 750ti SC because it was on sale for $139.00 with $20 rebate $119.00 and i wanted to go up higher on my games settings to ULTRA or HIGH but with more FPS. I do get some lag on METRO 2033, Ghost, and Black Ops 2 on my GTX 460 right now. Plus i like the fact the GTX 750ti doesn't use any 6 pin connectors and smaller profile for my case. Thanks for your quick responds DAMRIC. Much appreciated. ;)

The 750ti isn't really that much faster than a 460 though?! I'm not sure you're going to get that much benefit tbh. The 750ti is super efficient so it will probably run quieter at least.
