Firstly I put this under the motherboard section since I be also showing my specs so you all can sy if anything will bottleneck, I want to play game like gta iv, sleeping dogs & cod ghosts etc..

I just got my new board for only $20 on ebay Manufacturer Refurbished so basically brand new (since my budget is low)

Motherboard: Micro Star Inc (MSI) MS-7178
CPU: Intel Pentium (D) 3.00GHz (Dual Core)
RAM: 2GB (can have a max of 4gb also can enable dual channel)
PCI-E: x16 1.0a

Would any of this bottleneck if I got a NVIDIA gtx 650ti? If so what is the best card for this system

Thanks!

My PSU is 500W thinking about upgrading to700W since the PSU is now 6 months old and the fan is starting to stuff up in it, its a cheap brand.
Also what would be the best graphics card I can get without it bottlenecking?
Will PCI-e 1.0 bottleneck? (since there is pcie 3.0 out now)

Thanks for the reply ;)

Distinguished
1. Don't upgrade to 700w just buy a brand name 500w psu like seasonic;antec;fsp
2. Please post screen resolution. For 720/768/800p the 650ti is great, anything higher you should get a 750ti with 2gb vram (or a 660 at a good price)
3. PCI-e 1.0 will NOT be a problem

Ok thinks;)
Was going to use the 750W for other builds but money wise I might stick to 500W then ;)
I might get a 650ti or 750ti depending how my budget goes this pay.

Tanks all ;)

You won't need a new power supply if you use a GTX 750 or 750Ti. They use so little wattage, a 500W is PLENTY.

Ok thanks all ;)

Thinking about going with this then
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aerocool-Strike-X-500W-80-Bronze-Power-Supply-/301206853691?pt=AU_Components&hash=item462153d83b

Would suite the case.

I really don't know that brand at all, but it looks pretty good. Was looking at other options on eBay australia to see if there were better options, but no... us in the United States have it golden, wow.

Have fun!

Thanks ;)
Aero Cool is actually a pretty good brand bought a case from them so the psu would go great together.

Also I almost forgot to ask I have DDR2 ram speeds (ram slots) would that effect much?
I know ddr3 is not much difference as it starts at 800mhz and ddr2 ends at that.
