Bought a new GPU the Gigabyte 780 ti OC. I'm finding that i'm not getting the fps I should be, and get big fps drops.
My specs are:
i5 3570k
asrock z77 pro3
8gb ram
coolermaster gx 750w bronze

I've also had to put the GPU in the motherboards 2nd pci slot as the top one wont fit (due to case size), would this effect fps?
And I've had to use molex adapters running from everywhere so maybe it has something to do with psu???
Thanks

Solution
I don't think it's fault of you using it in 2nd PCIE slot.
Even though 1st is PCIE 3.0 x16 and 2nd is PCIE 2.0 x16, there would be minimal impact of 1%, if not any, that would be unnoticeable.

Did you connect your GPU directly to PSU, 8pin + 8pin or are you using some side cables?

my psu only came with 6pins so my molex adapters are connected to side cables

ill be playing crysis 3 50+ fps then all of a sudden it drops to 25, even if I lower everything, and overall from the reviews on the card tell me it should have a higher fps then it is currently having.
