I have a pc i use for games, i have nvidia gtx285 and a core 2 quad processor 2.6ghz and 4gb of ram ddr2, i have 900w power supply it runs fine the games at 1080p res, i want to get a new card because of the dx11 thats seems to be a requierement to install new games (call of duty titanfall) so what do you guys consider i should buy i want something in the middle of all this gtx monster graphics because of the money, i don't want to invest that much cause now these gtx cards are for months beated by another better and cheaper, so i would need to get another motherboard in order to get ddr3 ram which processor and card would yo recommend for 1080p gaming don't need to be constant 60fps and in any case i always disable shadows and can live without AA. thank you all

ps: want nvidia cause i also bought an acer monitor and a pair of 3d nvidia glasses.
ps: i have 1000usd but could get more, if someone considers that for a little bit more i can get something better, but thats what i want to invest kind of

Here you go, around 650$ and you should be able to play it at AVG 60 FPS and Very High settings 1080p.

Just be sure you got a Power Supply with at least 500 W.
If not I recommend this 600 W PSU: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx600... 600 W for 50$
if you plan to upgrade to more robust GPU later on, I recommend this one:
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750bbef... 750 W for 80$.

Also I recommended an ATX (size) motherboard, you should check with your PC Case if ATX fits in.
and the Socket Size on the CPU is 1150, so you should check with your heat-sink for CPU, if it's compatible with the Socket.

No, they must be "matched" GPU's.
Mainly, same model (ie: GTX 760 with 760 or 780 with 780) and amount of Vram (2Gb with 2Gb, 4gb with 4Gb, ect..) To be officially supported. Clock speeds and brand names however do not matter.
Otherwise it's also to much hassle, to do.

Also if you don't plan to OC, not even mildly, then you can get non-K CPU.
Which is otherwise 35$ cheaper.

and Your Welcome.
If you would need any further help, just go ahead.
